Valencia CF attend Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon presentation
Valencia CF participated in a joint act for elite clubs in the region to support the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon, which will celebrate its 40th edition on December 6th. Club ambassador Ricardo Arias represented VCF in a ceremony that was also attended by members of Levante UD, Villarreal CF and Valencia Basket.
This year, the organisation of the marathon has been affected by COVID-19. It will now be held in 'Elite Edition' mode, the equivalent of a behind closed doors game in football stadiums. The race has been adapted to the circumstances and will be one of the few to be held during the reduction in activity caused by the pandemic.

In the 40th edition of the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon, 218 athletes will participate in trying to beat the current event record. The race is run by SD Correcaminos and the Valencia Ayuntamiento City Council, and will provide a place in the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games and Paralympic Games for the winners.
